Position Summary
Deploy, monitor & operate IT infrastructure on 24x7 bases for a multi-locational enterprise. This includes maintaining, supporting and optimizing key functional areas consisting of network infrastructure, server infrastructure, data center environment, web hosting, surveillance and telecommunications systems.
Jobs Role
- 24x7x365 data center operations comprising of enterprise storage, blade servers running on VMWare virtualized environment
- Install, configure, monitor & maintain servers in Linux and Windows environments
- Datacenter Power & Environment (EMS, UPS, Camera, PAC) monitoring
- Datacenter Access Control & CCTV Administration
- Active directory monitoring and maintenance
- File Server monitoring and maintenance
- Internet Services Management
- Security Management including managing VPNs and firewalls
- Wi-Fi connectivity and access control management
- Troubleshooting & maintenance of IP Management System
- Initial configuration of public cloud platforms like GCP and AWS
- Manage network incident, inventory and resources
- Provide L2/L3 support to users and support engineers
- Proven experience as a System Administrator or similar role
- Familiarity with Linux/Unix operating systems and platforms
- Experience in virtualization platform like VMWare is desirable
- Very good understanding of Cisco networks and firewall
- Knowledge of system security, data backup & recovery
- SAN and storage experience is preferred
- Experience with active directory, DNS
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as GCP or AWS is desirable
- Enjoys working in a customer focused team environment while maintaining a high level of proficiency under pressure
- Strong work ethics, a drive for success and proactive attitude
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
- Good communication skills
- Linux or windows certified System Administrator is must
- Preferred certification in VMware, Cisco Network & Firewall
